This is a more complex and “unpredictable” project. There will be so much to discuss, infinite variables and a lot of research to do.
I always start such projects with this important premise:
“It takes a businessman to start a business, not just a passion for coffee”
I’ve seen plenty of successful coffee companies that opened without any coffee knowledge while even with all the coffee knowledge in the world, without a well structured business plan, any investment becomes a gamble.
I lack the knowledge and time to create a business plan, but here’s a list of what I can do to help:

- Choosing equipment – Roasting, coffee cleaning, espresso, grinders…

Usually in this case we organise a 30 minutes online session and discuss the best approach to this consultancy. You’ll find the option to buy online meetings 30 minutes at the time though the shop.

Organising the trip and Calculating the Cost
Dates and deadlines
Once we’ve decided what we need to work on, it’s time to book the dates. This cannot be done through an automated calendar since there are too many variables to consider.
Upon request I can quickly provide a list of available dates for the next 5 months.
Once we’ve chosen the dates I will automatically keep them booked until a month before. At this point the payment of the course will be requested in order to keep the reservation.
Prices and payments
You will find some examples of consultancy costs in the shop section, they mainly differ in duration and distance from Italy. If you find a combination close to what you are looking for you can buy directly through the website.
Otherwise we’ll discuss a specific price and I’ll send a custom payment link or the necessary details for a bank transfer.
Flights
In most cases I will need to fly to reach you, the most practical airports for my departure are Pisa and Firenze.
While Roma, Milan and Bologna will lead to additional costs.
Journeys longer than 5 hours will be counted as an additional day of work.
When it comes to booking the flight the most common solution is for my clients to pay directly for the flight (or train)
Accommodation
Same thing for accommodation, it’s easier for the “host” to find a practical location and pay them directly.
Food and local travel costs will also be discussed during the organisation of the consultancy
It is possible to request an “all inclusive” final price to simplify the process, this is not the most cost friendly option but it can be easier in some cases. I will need a bit of extra time to check flights, hotels, car rentals and so on, but at least I can give you a total cost and there will be nothing else.
